Welcome to 1UpEDU! We are dedicated to empowering teachers like you to support students struggling with social skills through the transformative power of gaming and creative learning. At 1UpEDU, we believe that every student has the potential to thrive socially and emotionally when given the right tools and opportunities to connect, collaborate, and grow. By integrating Social Emotional Learning (SEL) strategies into engaging activities, we help students develop essential skills such as self-awareness, relationship-building, and responsible decision-making.

My name is Josh Bound, and I’m the founder and Executive Director of the Video Game Clubs of America (VGCUSA). Since 2018, we’ve partnered with educators to create gaming clubs that reach and uplift the quiet students often overlooked. Over the past seven years, we’ve empowered countless students and teachers with the tools and resources needed to make a lasting impact in their schools and communities.
